Occultations

"Paul Maley (NASA JSC) and myself (Richard Nugent)traveled to Florida Tuesday (17Apr07) along with a dozen other observers to record the brightest star to be occulted by an asteroid in North America this year. The asteroid 411 Xanthe eclipsed the star,  Iota Cancri (m = 4.2) and it appears to be a giant star as the occultation video shows a gradual disappearance and reappearance."Movie in wmv format.
